LEARN ABOUT OUR HISTORY
RVW Pugh Ltd started out as a husband and wife team, Robert and Caroline, over 25 years ago and has now grown to 40 staff over 2 branches.

Managing Director Robert Pugh trained in agricultural engineering before starting the company as a steel fabrication business making farm buildings, gates, doors, trailers and anything else that customers requested. When agricultural contracting and machinery repairs were added to the services provided, the business grew taking on staff to help Robert and Caroline.

Since 1983, the company has been involved in tractor sales and service with the smaller players in the market. Following investing in their own purpose-built premises on a 3.7 acre site in 1998, including a main workshop, offices, stores and showroom area of 7,500 sq ft. The extra capacity enabled RVW Pugh Ltd to increase the range of machinery offered to include leading brands of grassland and arable equipment, as well as a wide range of tools and accessories including oil, dairy hygiene products, silage film wrap and baling twine.

The company acquired the AGCO franchise for Massey Ferguson and Fendt tractors in November 2000, and has since grown to be one the largest dealers in the UK. The company now employs 40 staff across 2 branches, with a fleet of 13 service vehicles, 15 mechanics, 5 stores staff and 5 sales staff.

"We pride ourselves on being a service-orientated company," added Caroline Pugh. "We've always believed that to make sales, it is essential to have the workshop service and parts availability to back them up."
