Pottinger Aerosem Pneumatic Implement Mounted Seed Drill
Pottinger Aerosem pneumatic seed drills are for use in combination with harrows and cultivators. Quick release couplings provide secure mounting and make the Aerosem easy to fit and remove from cultivation equipment.
The Aerosem is also available as a front mounted seed drill. The hopper, fan and metering system are mounted on the front linkage while the distributor heads and coulters are mounted to the rear roller of the power harrow. This arrangement improves weight distribution and lowers power requirements.
The Aerosem seed hopper is dust and water tight while it has a large opening for easy filling. The sowing system consists of two large metering wheels with 2x12 staggered cells. The cells draw a constant flow of seed from the hopper and feed them into the air stream, the seeds then pass at the correct rate to the coulters.

Aerosem Standard Line - Harrow mounted, 1,400 litre seed hopper, infinitely variable seed rate adjustment.
Aerosem Profi Line - Harrow mounted, 1,400 litre hopper, graphic management system with LCD display, electronic seed rate controller, tramline manager & performance monitor.
Aerosem F - Front mounted twin outlet hopper, 2,300 litre hopper capacity, ISOBUS, electro hydraulic metering drive with radar ground speed detection.
