Westwood W Series - Outfront Mowers
Fast, agile and highly manoeuverable, the W Series outfront ride-on mower is an alternative to a Westwood garden tractor. The W Series fully articulates in the middle of its body allowing for incredibly tight turning around garden ornaments, obstacles, trees and flowerbeds.
With the cutter deck mounted out in front, you have a great view of the ground ahead and can mow right under bushes and overhanging tree branches. Thanks to a large Combi cutting deck, you can mow your lawn fast and still leave a beautifully manicured finish.
A rear-mounted counterbalance gives the W Series near perfect 50/50 weight distribution from front to back offering superb balance and intuitive positive steering even over undulating ground. Four wheel drive models offer even more grip and performance on slopes and in difficult, boggy conditions.
The W Series is the option for those looking for a high performance, high-speed ride-on lawnmower to cut without collection, mulch or high grass mulch.
W15
It features hydrostatic front wheel drive. The front mounted mulching deck gives you a clear view of the ground ahead and fully articulated steering allows for an almost zero turning circle. This model features manual deck lift and height adjustment.
W16
With the cutting deck mounted at the front of the machine, the operator has full visibility of the area being cut. The W16 is perfect for mowing under overhanging bushes, ornamental grasses and around garden obstacles.
W16-4WD
Near 50/50 weight distribution offers perfect balance and control on slopes and undulating ground. When the slopes get too steep for 2WD, 4TRAC senses the need for more traction and automatically engages drive to all four wheels.
The ESA (Electronic Slope Alert) monitors the operating angle of the W Series and warns when approaching a slope too steep for safe mowing.
W18-4WD
All the features of the W16-4WD but with a little more power. When fitted with an optional High Grass Mulching deck, this out-front can scythe through tall nettles, grass and brambles.
Dynamic traction control applies drive to the wheels only when it is needed. Unlike many other makes of out-front mowers, a Westwood W Series won’t scuff your lawn when turning.
All W Series out-front mowers feature a noise reducing, double skinned engine cover. This dramatically reduces noise pollution from the mower, making it more comfortable to operate and more comfortable for bystanders.
W25-4WD
Hydrostatic forward and reverse foot control makes the W Series exceptionally easy to drive. With fully articulating steering the W25-4WD can navigate around trees, bushes and obstacles.
4TRAC transmission applies four-wheel drive for when extra grip is required on slopes and slippery conditions.
